This past summer HCDP members sold a lot of "End of an Error" T-shirts to get funds to send Chair Ken Pechette to the Democratic National Convention in Denver. At least we got televised proof from MSNBC and PBS that Ken actually was there!

RIGHT: Kim Teachout from the UAW (center) spent all day and election evening with the Huron County Democrats. The horn honking for Obama also went well into the evening, as passers-by shared their enthusiasm. Who would have thought Huron County would be so supportive of the Obama-Biden ticket?
Another first in 2008: County Democrats organized the march and rally for Obama, drawing a great crowd of supporters. Pictured above are marchers (including our UAW friend Rob Burleson in the center, holding high his sign) just before the march began.
